About Us

Little Stars day nursery and preschool provides full day care for children from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

We believe our nursery is a place for each child to make a positive contribution and to feels valued as an individual. The children are encouraged by our professional staff team who have a thorough understanding of what is meant by “good quality childcare” of which our team is committed to.

We have two age appropriate gardens where all children have the opportunity to explore the properties of the outdoor environment.

We believe that each child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfil their potential. A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on development of future skills. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important and when parents or carers chose a nursery or preschool they want the assurance that the provision will keep their children safe and support them to thrive. The government's Early Years Foundation Stage (www.dfcsf./eyfs/gov.uk) is the framework which the nursery follows in order to provide that assurance.

Flexible Day Nursery and Preschool Sessions

Whether you require full time or part time childcare, the nursery will do their upmost to accommodate your requirements.

We provide childcare from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks per year (closed between Christmas and New Year and on Bank Holidays). Children can attend our nursery or preschool for full days (8am to 6pm) or half days (8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm). Late pick-ups (6.30pm) are available if required.

Our nursery and preschool services are fully inclusive so your child will receive meals, snacks, milk, even nappies are provided. See Meals and Nutrition for further information.
