Kelly Walton

Nursery Manager

I have worked in childcare for 8 years during which time I have attended a variety of training and development courses. These include gaining my qualification certificates in childcare Level 2 and Level 3, an NVQ3 in management and a certificate in management. I have also studied towards my Foundation Degree which I completed in 2008. I am looking to continue my professional development with my BA Honours in the near future. I have also completed Safeguarding level 2 training, paediatric first aid, SENCO training along with various other courses to support my knowledge and delivery within the role of Nursery Manager. I have worked within a variety of Early Years environments and in the early stages of my career worked more intimately as a nanny for a family.

Within my previous nursery I led the setting to achieve a good Ofsted outcome with 6 areas of outstanding, one of my strengths is focusing the team to work to the highest standards and deliver the best practice to meet positive outcomes for our children.

I am really looking forward to working with Emma and the team here at Little Stars, within partnership with you as parents and look forward to bringing my wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to the nursery to further develop the experiences for the children here at Little Stars.
